Lights and Sirens Procession

The Lights and Sirens Procession will wind 15 miles through the communities of North Aurora, Aurora, Montgomery, and Oswego. Route Map coming soon. 

Staging begins at 5:30PM at the former Farmers Insurace/Everest College parking lot at 150 S Lincolnway (Route 31), North Aurora, IL 60542 (just north of the Route 31 I-88 exit and Airport Rd). The Lights and Sirens Procession kicks off at 6:30PM sharp and will head west past the North Aurora Days Festival. Then it will head south on Randall Rd into Aurora, through Montgomery, and through downtown Oswego at approximately 7:20PM before arriving at a private reception for vehicle owners, operators, and their passengers at Oswego Fire Station #1, 3511 Woolley Rd, Oswego, IL 60543. The procession will last one hour. Please indicate in the registration whether you anticipate staying for the reception and complementary dinner along with an estimate of how many people will be in your vehicle. Emergency vehicles are welcome to be stored overnight at the Oswego Fire Department Station #1.

In order to better honor our public safety providers, Friday's Lights & Sirens Procession and Sunday's Emergency Vehicle Caravan are limited to any government-owned emergency vehicles, any marked emergency vehicles, and any marked or unmarked antique emergency vehicles (model year 1993 or older).

On Friday, tow vehicles and trailers may be parked across the road from the Oswego Fire Station in the Woolley Rd. facing lot of Traughber Jr. High 570 Colchester Dr, Oswego, IL 60543. After the Friday evening festivities, show vehicles (and their tow vehicles and trailers) may be parked in the front parking lot of the Oswego FD Station 1 3511 Woolley Rd, Oswego, IL 60543.

21st Annual Chicagoland Emergency Vehicle Show

10 AM - 4 PM CST

 
This year we are excited to be returning to downtown Oswego, Illinois. The location along historic Main St will feature static displays of new and vintage emergency vehicles, live demonstrations of firefighting, police, and rescue operations, safety displays, children's activities, public safety-related equipment, toy and memorabilia vendors, food and more.

Entrance to the event is free to the public. Ample free parking is available throughout the area. There are several parking lots west (downhill) of the showgrounds that can also accomodate trailers.

 

 


Emergency Vehicle Registration


Pre-registration is encouraged for faster check-in and staging. There is no fee for private collectors who wish to register on-site the day of the show. Registration and vehicle staging begins at 8AM. All vehicles should be staged before the show opens to the public at 10AM.

 

Flea Market Vendor Spaces


Each vendor space is $50
One vehicle can be parked behind each space
Vendor spaces are outdoors on a parking lot, with no shade
Vendors must provide their own tables
Power is available for an additional $25
